BALANCE & COORDINATION WORKOUT FOR SENIORS

In this Balance & Coordination Workout for Seniors, we will work on strengthening the core. The core muscles make up the trunk of the body and are used to stabilize when balancing. Balance and coordination are key for safe movement from walking to standing, stepping, and bending down.

Difficulty Level: Beginner to Intermediate Equipment Needed: Chair, cup or related object

FLEXIBILITY & MOBILITY WORKOUT FOR SENIORS

This 30 minute Flexibility & Mobility Workout for Seniors is quick and effective, and will help improve your range of motion through mobility and flexibility exercises.

Difficulty Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Equipment Needed: Chair

FUNCTIONAL WORKOUT FOR SENIORS

This Functional Workout for Seniors helps strengthen and mobilize the major muscles and joints utilized in everyday movements. Benefits include helping to improve balance and coordination needed to sit down, stand up and move about your home safely.

Difficulty: Beginner
Equipment Needed: Chair

STRENGTH WORKOUT FOR SENIORS

This Strength Workout for Seniors will help to improve strength in all the major muscles including the legs, core, and upper body. Please note: It is recommended to do resistance and strength training 3-4x per week for 30 minutes to achieve the maximum benefit.

HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL CARDIO WORKOUT FOR SENIORS

In this Interval Cardio Workout for Seniors we will perform quick paced exercises in an interval format. Interval means we are going to alternate between 2 exercises, working for 30 seconds each, and repeating for 4 rounds. We will do 3 sets of intervals to achieve a 30 minute high intensity workout.
